Stayed at this beach apartment, had a marvelous time fishing and hiking. Great amenities like a children's pool and a playground. Loved the terrace with ocean views and BBQ facilities. Explored the beautiful nature reserves nearby.
The only downside was. oh wait, there was none!

Stayed in a beach house with a private beach, enjoyed fishing and hiking. Kids loved the children's pool and playground. Terrace had ocean view, perfect for barbecues. Explored nature reserves nearby. Close to Cape Town International Airport.
What a shame I didn't like the location. Next to an industrial area and informal settlement.

Clean, comfortable apartment with hot water. Situated right on the sea rocks, with a lovely decked area to sit out at & watch the waves. Good security & easy key access. Samantha, the host, was always in touch and went above and beyond to assist us. The apartment was exactly as depicted and had a welcoming atmosphere. The bedrooms and bathroom were spacious, and the kitchen and lounge were open plan. We enjoyed the summer decor and the thoughtful touches in the kitchen and bathroom. The estate was secure and had beautiful homes and gardens. The location by the new harbor allowed for a pleasant walk to see the waves breaking. We even spotted yellow sunbirds building nests on a nearby tree. The house itself was spacious, well-equipped, and had amazing sea views. Irene, our host, was lovely and provided helpful tips. Although it was slightly away from the center, it was a nice spot, and we used a taxi to get around. We had a great meal at the Fusion restaurant. We were thrilled to spot whales from the house on our last morning. The location was excellent, with stunning views and a 30m distance from the sea. The open plan layout, well-equipped kitchen, and entertainment options were fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Irene made our experience even more enjoyable with her helpfulness.

The kitchen/living area of the accommodation was great, providing a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the holiday. Despite the small size of the bedrooms, the beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh. The location of the house was excellent, offering a stunning view of the wild waves crashing onto the rocks just a few meters from the window. This provided a refreshing and dramatic scenery that we thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay.
One of the disappointing aspects of our stay was the misleading picture of the ocean view that was shown in the advertisement. Our apartment was actually in the second row, and we were expecting a clear view of the ocean like the picture implied.

I had a fantastic stay at this beachfront house in Hermanus. The amazing ocean views from the lounge and bedrooms were fine. The apartment was very cute and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The open plan kitchen to lounge area was great and the big bathroom with a great shower was a plus. I also loved the summer decoration in the apartment, it gave it a nice touch. The estate where the house is located is beautiful with lovely homes and gardens. It felt very secure and safe. The walk down the path from the apartment to see the waves breaking was enjoyable. I even got to witness the yellow sunbirds building their nests in the tree nearby, it was fascinating. Karen and Margaret were always accessible and attentive to our needs, made our stay even better. I highly recommend this beachfront house for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Hermanus.

We had a blast cycling along the coast, feeling the wind in our hair and the salt in the air. The best part was that we had the entire house to ourselves, so it was like our own party pad. We didn't have to worry about annoying other guests or getting shushed for being too loud. It was pure freedom!
If there was one thing we wished for, it would be a party room with a super cool sound system. We loved dancing and having a good time, but we had to rely on our portable speakers.

For the price we paid, we got amazing value! The room was clean, comfortable, and right on the sea rocks - the view was amazing. The staff, especially Samantha, were helpful and kept in touch with us throughout our stay.
As for breakfast offerings, it would have been nice to have some milk available for the complimentary coffee and tea provided.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. It felt like stepping into a beautiful seaside cottage from my younger years. The general areas were well-maintained and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible with no stairs or obstacles to navigate. It was a comfortable and safe environment for someone like me.
I only wish that the children working there could have provided some additional activities or entertainment specifically designed for senior people.

The location was amazing, right next to the ocean, and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets together. The kids had a blast cycling in the area, exploring the surroundings and taking in the fresh ocean air. The house itself was spacious and clean, providing enough room for everyone. Plus, we loved that we only had to share the property with our own family, giving us privacy and peace of mind.
For dads, it would be great if the property had a playground or some outdoor activities specifically catered to children.

This beachfront house offers breathtaking ocean views from the lounge and two bedrooms, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. the location of the second flat also provides stunning views of the rocks and occasional whales, creating a truly memorable experience. the property owners have made efforts to minimize inconveniences, such as load shedding, by providing useful amenities like torches and gas-powered stoves.
Check-in process was slightly delayed, causing a short wait.
